Questions

Frequently asked questions

What is the teaching format for Champion Future's Chinese main courses? What type of class should I choose for my student?

Champion Future currently offers one type of courses: 1v1.

1v1 lessons are suitable for students in the enlightenment stage, elementary Chinese courses, or students aged 9 and above. This format allows parents and teachers to customize the student's progress and speed.

At what age should my student start learning Chinese?

Champion Future recommends starting Chinese language learning at the age of 3. Around the age of 3 is when students are most sensitive to language, and it's also the time when their brain's memory area develops rapidly. During this period, students absorb language like a sponge. Starting Chinese language learning at age 3 focuses on developing expressive abilities and laying the foundation for character recognition. Formal Chinese character writing starts around ages 4-5, and students make rapid progress in their Chinese learning.

How can I track my student's learning progress?

Champion Future teachers provide feedback on each lesson immediately after the class and generate learning reports in the class software. Parents can view these reports in the class software approximately 2 hours after the class.

For Level 1 and above courses, there are midterm reviews after every five lessons and final review assessments after every ten lessons to continuously consolidate the student's Chinese learning foundation.

What should I prepare the day before my student's first class? What preparations should I make?

Before your student's first class, please prepare the following and enter the online classroom 5-10 minutes in advance to ensure a smooth lesson:

If you are using an iPad for the class, please download 'VVClass' from the App Store.

If you are using a computer, please log in and download the Champion Future class software.

Note: It is not recommended for students to use smartphones for the class.

To ensure a smooth class, make sure your device has a built-in or external camera. We also strongly recommend preparing headphones with a microphone for your student to ensure clear audio and smoother communication with the teacher.
